Taking the acronym FAMILY, we have develop a 6 module course, aimed at answering the important questions you may have as a person attending or looking into Victory as your church.
This module is aimed at answering the tough questions about Christianity. What makes Christianity different from any other religion? Why should i trust the Bible? Who was Jesus, is he a real person or a fictitious character?
So why do we do church the way we do? This module is all about answering the WHY behind the WHAT. VC101 is the Vision and Values of the church. It looks at what the church was built on and where we see ourselves heading in the future.
Our goal is to raise up mature believers, that know who they are and what they are called to do. We believe as a church, that we are on a mission, and we want you to come along with us as we move forward into our future.
This module looks at you the believer, what God has equipped you with (spiritual and practical gifts) and where and how you can get involved. Our aim is to find the square hole if you are a square peg. This is an exciting module as it gives you more oppurtunity to learn more about yourself.
No one wants to waste this precious gift called life. VC401 is aimed at sharing the mission and purpose of the local church, and where you fit.
So who are you? That is a Big question. Our final module in our Family Discipleship Program is all about you. Who you are in God’s eyes, and what it means to be apart of God’s Family.
When we first started the church back in 1994, there were only 13 of us, so to keep track of who was here, who was for us and did they really understand who we were as a church and what we were about was easy. Now 16 years later that task isn’t as simple.
We have thought about these issues and have considered it an important priority for you as the church or even as a person or family looking in to be able to know exactly who we are, and why we do what we do.
